What we collect
- Contact info: your phone number, and your email and name if you sign up on the web.
- Your conversations: the messages you send Buddy Karl and its replies, so it can answer and keep context.
- What it remembers: facts you share (like your city or a birthday) are saved in your private workspace. You can ask it to forget anything.
- Reminders and tasks you schedule.
- Browser activity: the pages its cloud browser visits for your tasks. Cookies from sites you sign in to through the live link stay in your private browser profile.
- Saved logins (real-estate users only): MLS and forms logins you choose to save are encrypted at rest and used only by your own agents.
- Usage logs: standard server logs (IP, device, timestamps) for security and debugging.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, use it for ads, or share it with anyone you haven't authorized. We don't ask for or store your payment card numbers or passwords for your personal accounts.
Who helps us run it
- AI model providers (through OpenRouter, Anthropic, OpenAI and xAI) process your messages to generate replies. They don't train on this API data under their commercial terms.
- Twilio carries text and WhatsApp messages. Telegram carries messages if you use it.
- Browserbase runs the cloud browser. Brave Search powers web search.
- Resend sends sign-in emails. Hostinger hosts our servers in the US.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it within 30 days, and backups roll off within 90 days.
Your choices
Reply STOP to stop texts. Ask Buddy Karl to forget something, or email hello@orbitbuild.com to get a copy of your data or delete your account. We respond within 30 days, as the CCPA requires.
